01:08 Kim We could definitely have performers on the train too, even if there are two of them, has to be balanced etc. Would not want Don to feel overshadowed. It will be easy to finesse in the end.

01:16 CGI307 There are so many songs to choose from… the old favorites, then songs he has never performed live (from TNSD and DH) and indeed some of the new songs has has been working with

01:19 CGI307 A lot will be happening this year! …Rock’n Roll Hall of Fame in March, then the tour & Edmonton Event… Probably there will not be many of us on Hydra this year

01:20 Kim Leonard is well aware of event but probably there are many considerations. We will just have to wait and see.
01:21 Kim It sort of comes out even, stimulates interest in him and event, and will get us more people here who are not able to go see him in Europe or have seen him already etc. It will be fine.

01:23 Kim It is ironic, but with the public money we are raising from grants and corporate initiatives etc. failure to sign one particular high profile artist simply translates into more funding for other parts of event, so may be a good thing in the end. So in that sense there are no bad outcomes.

Greetings to All !! I’m a newcomer to this site. My name is Dianne and I’m one of those girls that is just between. Age 51 yrs allowed me to be a child during the early 60’s, a pre-teen during the later, and know-it-all apprentice adult at the beginning of the 70’s. I’ve been a mom for 17 yrs and worked for Gov for 32+ yrs. Through it all there has been one constant area that is only mine. Music. I’m not as up on names and who played which gig, but I sure do love to laugh, enjoy the social of being around good people, and am often overwhelmed and just plain high on the sounds of music. It’s like my entire life has a soundtrack playing while I live out the events during the actual moments and then relive them again while a memory. I hear the music of so many great artists! (I’d even swear that sometimes my memories are played to entirely different music that the actual living out the moment!!!) I’m finally able to embrace many opportunities to seek out and be a part of music while it is played. Yipee! I love concerts and to add in the joy of adventure - well, that seems so grand.
I have not spent enough time yet reading back through any discussions and general comments. I do however, want very much to be pulled into this magnificient environment with the upcoming events that make our lives so spectacular and empassioned. Man ~ I just love this music part of life and I don’t seem to ever get enough of the best of the best. I am so thrilled over the prospect of coming to one (or two or three) of Leonard’s scheduled shows. How great will this be to also be along on what seems to be some great planning for a train approach. Oh Please, do allow me to remain here in this perfect environment you folks have created!
I hope to hear back some comments and will regard all thoughts, guidence, and helpful suggestings. I’d really like to become a part of your train ride. (I would have fit right in with Janis and The Band.) So I invite you to write. I don’t really know all of the site rules and proper protocal. Please send forgivness with all knuckle wraps! Beg your pardon’s, I don’t want to offend or stumble but I sure do want to party with the best! So again, send comments here or to my simone800@cox.net. I’ll talk to anyone who wants to share their own thrills and knowledge.
