12:59 Kim hi!
01:00 Kim Tomorrow is Tori’s birthday and is officially Family Day in the Province of Alberta. Happy birthday eve, Tori!

01:00 tori hi!
01:00 tori thank you!
01:00 Kim We have relaunched http://www.leonardcohennights.org/index2.html so it is much more specific to event, links to existing 2008 sites. http://www.leonardcohennights.org
01:02 Kim Great concert on demand site for Serena Ryder our subheadliner for Saturday concert at the Winspear http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/singleConcert.html?20070328seren
01:02 Kim Second song is Sisters of Mercy
01:03 Kim “It takes ten seconds for a boxer to be counted out in the ring. It took less than that for Serena Ryder to completely stun this reporter at the start of her a cappella rendition of Melancholy Blue; and about three minutes, or the length of a round, to announce herself as a once-in-a-generation, Dylanesque visionary who quite literally has no ceiling.”
01:06 Kim Fiji-Pawel has made many good changes on his site today, we are thinking of changing the colors there to red and white the colors of Poland, and putting on Canadian flag, then after event changing to Polish flag. Any thoughts on that? We can experiment with how it looks. http://leonardcohenevent.info/
01:07 Kim Nice to have symbolic links now between 2008 event in Edmonton and 2010 in Krakow. Ann Vriend very enthusiastic about Poland, is she ever! Lol!
01:09 Fiji Kim: she must be ;)
01:10 Kim Yes well the idea of a Polish tour appeals.
01:10 Kim But we will await Sabastian’s thoughts .
01:11 Fiji I think I should go to embassy for visa, after the pictures You showed me today… no other way
01:13 Kim Yes you should and consider going to organizing meeting in Krakow next Saturday.
01:14 Kim I am glad Serena appeals to you! I think most people find her appealing!
01:14 Fiji I will let you know about meeting of course
01:14 Kim Yes great!
01:14 Fiji so, maybe i should not be as the rest of people ;)
01:15 Kim You are a special case for sure! Lol! I am sure Serena will recognize that in you!
01:16 Fiji ;)
01:17 Fiji oh,Kim
01:17 Fiji I have seen “into the wild”
01:17 Fiji thank you for recommendation!
01:17 Fiji great
01:17 Kim That’s great!
01:18 Kim Yes a very moving film, very thought provoking.
01:19 Kim Fit in well with the Thinkernet discussion http://www.internetevolution.com/author.asp?section_id=567&doc_id=144614
01:19 Fiji Kim: are You going to sing “four strong winds” tomorrow?
01:20 Kim I listen to it, Johnny Cash and Ian Tyson versions I like best, not something I sing as yet! Great song though!
01:21 Kim We do not yet have a lot of pageantry surrounding Family Day yet , no ceremony to speak of. Probably more for Tori’s 20th birthday than for the Province’s Family Day! Lol!
01:23 Kim Tori is planning to spend the day watching movies all of one type I think, sort of personal film fest!
01:24 Fiji any titles?
01:24 Kim The book Into the Wild and the movie are very different. I have not read the mainly documentary style book yet.
01:25 Fiji yes, i have read about it
01:26 Fiji i must read the book now
01:28 Kim Yes some poetic license used in the movie to make a better story.
01:28 tori i’m going to be classic and watch star wars. but i might go to drumheller to see the dinosaur museum — its been years!
01:28 Kim Great stuff!
01:29 Kim I hope you have a great birthday celebration Tori!
01:30 tori Thank you! Its nice that its on a holiday
01:30 Fiji star wars days… nice
01:30 Fiji think about LOTR marathon ;)
01:34 tori that’d be an epic marathon
01:34 tori each movie is like 3 hours
01:35 tori i’ve watched the first 2 back to back — it was fun. except the dvds were my sisters, which she bought in china. so, the quality wasn’t very good and had Chinese subtitles
01:36 chanson Fun! Movie marathons are fun with friends.
01:36 Kim Chinese subtitles can be something neat, making the event more memorable.
01:38 Kim In Berlin was filmmaker interested in filming Edmonton event, Peter North has lots of interest from CBC in that too, one way or the other will probably be best documented event so far!
01:40 Kim Tori, Pawel-Fiji has changes he needs Jin of GoBigEvent to make in registration list format. I told him Jin had been quite cooperative with you on Friday. So I think it will go fine. Company strongly motivated to have things go smoothly.
01:44 Kim Probably Leonard’s tour schedule will be announced by next Sunday’s chat in which case the chat will be just jumping with activity and participants and questions! So we can enjoy the quiet of today while it lasts!
01:58 tori Jin is definitely very cooperative; there will be no issue
01:59 Kim Yes nice situation there.
02:00 Kim Strong kitchen theming, Christine cleaning kitchen, Pawel making a cake in kitchen, Peter North has program Come Into My Kitchen where he is discussion our event with Karla Anderson this weekend.
02:01 Fiji i have no camera to make a photo, you must believe me
02:02 Kim I do believe you! OK 2 pm. Thanks everyone for participating and have a great Sunday. See you here next week, same time, same place on next Sunday!
02:02 chanson I’ve subsequently made some noodle soup and ate it reading the discussion here.
02:02 Kim Cool!
